The new soundtrack for the 2008 Book Week production REV IT UP has been recorded and preparations are well underway for the 2008 national tour which will see twelve teams performing in schools in Melbourne Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane to a combined audience od over 120,000 students

A new production of Eurobeat starring an exciting new Australian cast will be touring South Korea from mid June 2008. The production will kick off and headline the Arts Festival in the city of Daegu on June 17th then move to Seoul for two weeks at the Hanjeon Arts Centre from June 24th.

On April 8th at rehearsals for the UK tour of Eurobeat I had the great pleasure of being able to anounce to the company and now everyone that Eurobeat has been confirmed for a season in London's West End starting in early September 2008.

In what was an exciting start to 2008 in mid January, I travelled back to Nashville, Tennessee to begin work on an exciting new project in partnership with the Cultural Enrichment Department of Vanderbilt University. I have been commissioned to create a new production around the work and experiences of nurses and spent five days meeting with and observing a number of nurses at work in a variety of areas throughout the hospital. It promises to be one of the most exciting and challenging projects I have yet undertaken.

After travelling to London to audition the cast for the new UK production of Eurobeat (which was an exciting but demanding task as the quality of applicants was extraordinary) I am excited to announce the dates for the UK tour which kicks of on April 15th in Wimbledon (an auspicious start as that is also my birthday). I have just completed a new script for Echelon Productions for a secondary schools touring show in 2008 dealing with the issues of climate change and educating for a sustainable future. The show entitled Get Wet will be touring Victoria and N.S.W. during August as part of Science Week celebrations.

The second No Mates Productions tour for the year toured a number of schools in Singapore under the aupices of the Singapore Teachers' Union to a rousing response from audiences of up to 900 studets.

Eurobeat met with spectacular success in Edinburgh 2007, becoming the hit and best selling show of the festival and winning the Best Musical award. Plans are now well underway for a regional tour of the UK as well as a Scandinavian tour and a number of offers have been tabled that will see Eurobeat open on London's West End in 2008.
