Both a banquet and a musical feast, The Food Of Love was chosen to launch the 2002 Mildura/Wentworth Arts Festival. Created as a showcase of the songs of Craig Christie and the culinary talent of chef Tricia Hennessy, The Food Of Love is a musical program divided into three courses for which the table waiters present a tale of love, longing and lust as they serve the banquet specially designed for the event.
Featuring Francesca Arena, Craig Christie, Charmaine Gorman and Charlie Kedmenec under the accompaniment and musical direction of Andrew Patterson, The Food Of Love is an event to delight ALL the senses. It is now available for special events, festivals and corporate entertainment.
In March 2007 a new production of The Food Of Love was staged as a major charity event for the Dover Park Hospice in Singapore. Performed at the glamorous Marina Mandarin Hotel, this new production featured Craig, Jacqui Hoy, Andrew Page and Cathy Woodhouse and was musically directed by Vicki Jacobs. The event suceeded in raising $150,000 for the Dover Park Hospice.
